Hi Love this topic. I am in a wonderful exciting long term Femdom relationship with my girlfriend with elements of all the above but one aspect in particular is a focus, 'she gets the sex she wants when she wants' full stop. Now, she always wants (and of course me too wants her to have) power and control outside the bedroom but in the bedroom and regarding my role of serving to all her needs these are sometimes around being (consensually) forced, raped and tied up, these are very hot desires for her despite being an utterly dominant and self centered Alpha female. I am so lucky!. My role is to satisfy those needs even though she is my domme. Although sometimes a struggle for me we make that work for us and it doesnt change the base power exchange. Is this conflict common?Comment

I wouldn't classify this as BDSM but more Femdom, or a Female Led Relationship, and if done with consent and to resolve an uneven balance of a part of a relationship, as when behavior modification is done while sexualized it becomes mentally altering and can very effective therapy.A husband’s submissive day-to-day actions may include:- Doing housework like dishes and laundry
- Being available to drive his wife to appointments
- Giving her massages
- Buying her things
- Serving her food
- Committing to the wife’s plans without her having to ask first
this is my husband ^Comment

While this is an extremely helpful analysis of the topic of the male submissive, it missed one the most important aspects of the power exchange. Erotic humiliation is a primary feature of the sexual component of power exchange. I think the article could have included this dynamic in a more specific way.Comment

Big Boobed Mama Actually, I think many men like submissive women -- that's what makes the article so different is that this dynamic is not as prevalent as it being the other way around.
But I think there are tribes for both dynamics! Plenty of men love dominating their women in the bedroom (with consent of course!), and vice versa.
As long as both folks are happy with the arrangement, then anything goes!Comment
